MIKE DUNK RE ELECTED AS CHAIRMAN OF SOUTH AFRICA IC. The Annual General Meeting and dinner of the SA IC was held in Bloemfontein on Saturday 7 March and forty four people attended. It is held in Bloemfontein to coincide with the SA National Veterans Championships as it is during that tournament that the most number of IC members are in the same place at the same time. As the numbers of entries for the tournament were down on last year, it was understandable that there were slightly less attending our function this year. The platform has been laid for closer working relationship between IC and the governing body for tennis here, Tennis SA who assisted us financially for the junior challenge and a TSA Development team was invited for the first time. Lorna Krog was re-elected as President in view of the sterling work she has done for the club in Cape Town and it also ensures continuity especially with our own IC Legends tournament scheduled for May at Sun City.
