A GOOD DAY FOR OUR BOYS IN OSAKA

Joubert Klopper had a great win over Kei Manaka who has played junior Davis Cup for Japan winning 63 64. Joubert played aggressive and solid tennis to move through to the second round where he will come up against the top seed.

In the doubles he and Robbie Arendse again showed great doubles skills against the Japanese pair to win 62 64. There was some wonderful team work on display and their communication with each other paid dividends. 

They won four games on crucial deciding points to underline their superiority. It was a really good day for both the South African juniors and they were rewarded with a rich harvest of ITF points in the process.
